SERVICES: BACKGROUND PAPERS
New updated WTO Secretariat
services background papers
The WTO Secretariat is producing
an updated series of background notes on services sectors and modes of
supply. A similar exercise was conducted in 1998. These new notes,
which are aimed at stimulating discussion in the Council for Trade in
Services, capture some of the far-reaching developments that have
occurred in the services area over the past decade, and focus on
issues considered to be most relevant from a trade perspective.
